It’s true…we don’t feature a ton of neo-classical instrumental work. But, when we came across Yannis Koser’s latest piece ‘Touch of Tenderness’, we just knew that we had to get the word out! Yannis is a composer and musician based in Brussels, and on his latest release, he’s constructed one of the most emotive, moving, and soul-stirring piano pieces I’ve ever heard. Focusing on the theme of tenderness and its influential energy to improve our lives, Koser takes the listener on an emotional and almost spiritual journey. The structure and make-up of the tune evoke intense feelings, as it invites the listener to take a step back, breathe, and live in a peaceful moment.

The minimalist piano piece from Yannis Koser has made its way into my heart and soul. It brings to mind the likes of two of my favourites; Ludovico Einaudi and Alexandra Stréliski. With three singles currently to his name, Koser has the world at his feet, and I can’t wait to hear more from him!
