Embracing world music, the Mexican creative collects sound fragments and recordings from all over the Western States, New Zealand, and Australia.
Like a complex puzzle, ‘Niva’ blends tribal percussions and conventional instruments, all drenched in a magical, spacious goo sprinkled with cathartic and evocative vocals on top. Perhaps not a record for everybody, the track evokes ancient times, never-ending dances and the obscurity of the spiritual world – all filtered through Woven Talon’s musical expertise.
