Worthitpurchase Shares Stunning, Bright Single ‘Heaven on Earth’

A wonderful single, ‘Heaven on Earth’ is a stroke of genius, both in its production and lyrical character. Built over an eclectic and partly nostalgic sonic palette, the track makes ample use of friendly acoustic guitar and vintage drum machines, creating a melancholic yet uplifting concoction of sounds that seem to work very well together. Blending elements from different decades, Worthitpurchase finds a formula that’s rather unique and authentic.

In particular, we absolutely love the metal samples on the track, a quirky and peculiar feature that evokes the likes of Depeche Mode, among others. Nicole Rowe’s ethereal and elegant vocals take the record in the opposite direction, entering indietronica territories and poppy songwriting. The result is a curious, fresh and leftfield gem which retains its relatable and ‘popular’ quality.

Speaking about ‘Heaven on Earth’, the trio explain: “‘It is the most maximalist song we’ve ever made— it was written and rewritten, rearranged entirely, it’s a song that’s been floating around for years and I’m so happy with where it landed”.
