Known for his collaborative spirit and enthralling soundscapes, New York City-based electronic music producer Wavewulf first burst onto the scene with his debut album ‘Oscillation’ in 2019. Five years later, and with four full-length albums to his name, Wavewulf (AKA Nicholas Long) is gearing up for record number five.
Last month, the artist unleashed ‘Unbreakable Soul’, a deeply hypnotic and synth-driven offering that will serve as the title track of his new album. Featuring Polish vocalist Nala Spark, the dreamy and genre-bending tune is a tale of tenacity and determination. “It’s about a person going through life, encountering struggles, persevering, pulling wisdom from others and within, and coming out stronger,” says Wavewulf.
Ambient and soothing, ‘Unbreakable Soul’ sends the listener into an almost meditative state of reflection and empowerment. It’s an immersive sonic journey that wraps you in a cocoon of ethereal sound for five minutes, and you wish the voyage didn’t have to end.
