V?k Returns with Uplifting Gem ‘Superficie’

The keen reader might recall London-based, Italian-born creative V?k. Earlier this year, we celebrated ‘Moai’ as being “packed with introspective lyricism and fragile poignancy – the kind of single that reeks of reckoning and change”. On a mission to affirm his colourful and eclectic artistry, V?k now returns with latest effort ‘Superficie’.

In it, the talented troubadour takes a decisively more playful and uplifting approach, leaving behind warm ballad tones in favour of a summer-flavoured, dance-inducing production that’s electrifying and hypnotising. Crowning it all, V?k’s anthemic and nuanced vocals exhibit all their charm and confidence.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Superficie’, he explains: “‘Superficie’ warns the listeners against overthinking, instead suggesting to not take things personally. In other words – take it easy and untangle yourself from everyday worries”.
