UNO MAS Unveil Punchy Banger ‘Snake Eyes’

Introduced by expansively raw and punchy guitar tones, ‘Snake Eyes’ soon evolves into a fully-fledged alt-indie anthem. Echoing the fuzziness of QOTSA and the mainstream flavourings of The Raconteurs, the track feels intense and hard-hitting, yet nuanced and relatable. In a way, it’s the perfect blend between rock’s rebellious and chaotic flair and pop’s love of catchy melodies and sing-aloud hooks.

Behind it, we find Manchester-based outfit UNO MAS, slowly yet steadily building a substantial fanbase. With ever-growing streaming figures, it’s no wonder why the band attracts so much attention: their sound is polished and crystalline, yet still retaining its rough edges and a certain punk-flavoured alluring. Their records are produced really well, and they have nothing to envy of bigger groups out there. Just a matter of time before they reach national recognition.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Snake Eyes’, UNO MAS explain: “It dives into the rollercoaster ride of the music industry, exploring the risks and rewards of pursuing a dream. The song metaphorically likens the journey to rolling dice, where landing on double one can feel like the hardest – and yet sometimes the easiest outcome.”
