Emerging from Hammond, L.A., Troy Bennett’s Graveyards Lips is a rather eclectic and surprising project: grazing Folk and Pop territories with fragility and sensibility, the American talent manages to craft material that’s soothing, comforting and empowering, oscillating between darker sonic formulas and more mellow stylings.
‘(Bare)Ly Existing’ is the project’s latest effort, a wonderful collection of introspective and meaningful pieces, often built on delicate acoustic guitars and thin percussions.
