Trey Duncan Shares Latest Gem ‘Miracle’

Describing his latest effort as “my unofficial wedding song”, Trey Duncan opens a personal viewpoint into his nuanced artistry, showcasing his ability to pen deep, meaningful and poignant ballads. On paper, Duncan can be seen as a rocker, having been part of a band in the genre not long ago. However, he is today pursuing a solo project, an endeavour that seems to be taking him towards mellower and more eclectic territories, often bouncing over relatable country and pop formulas.

Emerging from Greenville, US, the talented newcomer boasts wholesome, evocative vocals, the kind of tone able to fully engage with a live audience. ‘Miracle’ greatly benefits from this disposition, making the tune a refined and emotional moment of introspection. The piece is fully focused on its lyricism, with an understated background that supports Duncan’s vocals.

Describing the inspiration behind the track, Trey explains: “I wrote ‘Miracle’ about two months before I married my wife, and I stand by every word. I think the way she loves me is nothing short of miraculous.”
