TONYC is at it again. Fiercely navigating the futuristic, cinematic EDM space, the German producer borrows from brainiac techno, intense trance and digital dubstep stylings, crafting a sonic formula that’s gloomy, eerie, yet uplifting and high-octane. That’s always been the mark of the project: tunes with a lot of digital-esque sound design, complex arrangements and anthemic motifs.
‘Technological Predator’ follows that same exact recipe. TONYC’s latest effort, the single provides a challenging soundtrack to your daily life, perhaps best experienced at night, in a city centre, with lots of lights and flashy billboards around the listeners. From a production standpoint, the talented musician uses five different synthetisers in multiple layers, creating a nice blend of old-school arpeggios and more contemporary patches and effects.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Technological Predator’, TONYC explains: “I’ve crafted an intense, driving track that transports listeners into a cyberpunk universe, where a relentless, cybernetically enhanced anti-hero navigates the neon-lit cityscape at night. This track pulses with dark, futuristic energy, perfect for fans of gritty, cinematic action scenes.”
