Non-binary rising Star Tom Rasmussen has long showcased their breaking musical force, mesmerising listeners worldwide with a fierce and unapologetic aesthetic, combined with stunning vocal qualities and relevant and relatable lyricism. Championed by the likes of Self-Esteem and Rita Sawayama, Rasmussen looks destined to Music Olympus, and frankly, they might already be in it.
‘Body Building’ is Tom’s latest album, freshly released and consigned to timeless glory. In it, Rasmussen aims to highlight the struggles of the queer and trans community while celebrating their diversity, beauty and power. The record features guest appearances from notable voices in the trans community, including writer Travis Alabanza, journalist Shon Faye and DJ Princess Julia.
