Trickshooter Social Club Returns with Rowdy Single ‘Mile Wide’

There’s nothing that surprises us anymore about Trickshooter Social Club. Having featured them last year with their energetic, stop-driven EP ‘Truck Stop Dangerous’, we are now happy to report their return onto the global rock scene with a new single, the galloping anthem ‘Mile Wide’. Packed with charisma and energy, the track sets up as an all-out bouncy anthem, revealing the group’s eclectic rock’n’roll imprint, here lined up with bluesy and Americana influences.

Drums are hard-hitting, guitars are sharp and shiny, vocals are extremely fierce and lightly saturated: what’s not to like? ‘Mile Wide’ is as freeing and raw as the Chicago-based outfit is, yet it also reveals charming eclecticism (for instance the horns in the chorus) and damn good musicianship.

Reiterating the euphoric lyricism behind the single, Trickshooter Social Club explain: “‘Mile Wide’ is about blowing your life wide open. Being open to setting fire to things, killing your darlings, and beautifully running off the rails you previously assigned for yourself. It’s about escaping the traps in cages we set for ourselves and blowing a hole a mile wide.”
