We had to wait a little longer than we thought to share this record, with its release date getting delayed a fair bit. You know what… it was worth it! ‘Music From The Soul’ is one of those albums that don’t come across too often. Built on mostly instrumental compositions, it celebrates the work and artistic sensibility of Thexele, Australian singer and producer with a knack for dreamy atmospheres and downtempo vibes. Emerging from Melbourne, the talented newcomer has a background as a Soundcloud personality, only recently shifting towards wider channels.
‘Music From The Soul’ is now available on Spotify: Thexele’s nuanced sonic tapestries are in easy reach, and we couldn’t be happier. Often organised around soothing and comforting Grand Piano lines, the production value gets then enriched by shimmering textures and light beats, providing a nice organic blend between instruments-based tones and electronic matter. We wouldn’t define ‘Music From The Soul’ as electronica, but more as a soundtrack-based musical journey. One worth taking.
Describing the process behind the record, Thexele explains: “I started producing music for this album and publishing individual tracks on Soundcloud (unofficially) about seven years ago. And by the way, most of the compositions fell on the period of my pregnancy. It was one of the most inspiring and beautiful periods of my life. Through creativity, I always wanted to share something very important with the world, to create a mood, but most importantly, this
music came from the heart. Therefore, the name of the album perfectly reflects its essence.”
