Théodore Ögren Unveils Soothing Piece ‘6th of October’

A soothing and delicate piece, ‘6th of October’ is a stunningly beautiful offering, packed with nostalgia and poignancy for a time that’s now gone. Echoing the many summers spent in the French city of Montargis, Swedish creative Théodore Ögren pens a simple, honest song that’s incredibly smooth and evocative, both on a lyrical and sonic level.

Built on child-like tones – including melodic percussions and an accordion – ‘6th of October’ provides a quiet and wonderful listening experience, wrapping the listeners into elegant, gentle melodies and a tender vocal delivery. Such subtle female vocals are facilitated by fellow Swedish artists Klara Goliger, Love Antell, and Daniela Serafimova.

The song is part of Ögren’s expansive upcoming album, ‘Montargis et Mes Soucis’. Speaking about the inspiration behind it, Théodore explains: “It’s a collection of songs that are about childhood, nostalgia, tired days and a small town called Montargis and I’m very happy to be able to share them with you.”
