The Survival Code are a London-based hard rock duo that you might have actually heard before. Their 2019 single ‘So Serious’ has just under 1,600,000 plays on Spotify and got some pretty serious airplay and exposure at the time. The duo have continued plugging away releasing music and now they’ve returned with ‘Haunted by Myself’, their brand new tune. Frenetic, hard-hitting, and deeply melodic, it’s a track for anybody who needs a good headbang and a general release of sorts! It’s intricate as well though, with interesting riffs and breaks, and it showcases just how tight a unit The Survival Code are!
“‘Haunted by Myself’ is a song about mental health,” says the pair. “It’s about times when you can’t see the forest from the trees and you focus on all the wrong things about yourself”. They’re not only coming in with a forceful sound but an important and compassionate message to go alongside it.
‘Haunted by Myself’ will feature on the duo’s upcoming full-length album that is scheduled for release at the end of this year. It’s an album that I can’t wait to put on and jam, because I’m loving everything about this pair so far!
