The Post Release Haunting and Cinematic New Single ‘Yellowstone’

Brisbane-based indie-folk duo The Post have wasted no time releasing new music this year. From spectacular covers of ‘Seven Nation Army’ and ‘Teardrop’ to original singles like ‘Right Love’ and ‘Shadows of Wounded Time’, it’s fair to say Esther Bertram and Alasdair Henry have kept themselves busy.

‘Yellowstone’ is the latest offering from The Post, and it’s a hauntingly emotive and cinematic song. Inspired by the vast and untamed landscapes of the hit series of the same name, the pair’s new tune explores the courage it takes to face life’s fears. “It’s about confronting what holds us back, stepping into the fire, and emerging stronger, freer, and more in tune with ourselves,” says Bertram.

Taking listeners on a deeply immersive sonic journey of self-discovery, resilience, and renewal, ‘Yellowstone’ is a truly masterful piece of music from start to finish. The meeting of Esther’s raw and soul-stirring vocals alongside Alasdair’s plaintive and thoughtful cello work is a match made in heaven, and the result is a breathtaking collision of power, vulnerability, and grace.

Accompanying The Post’s latest track is a powerful music video reflecting the song’s themes. It brings the tune to life – and we couldn’t be happier to share it with you today!
