While a lot of what receive is often pretty linear and tame, from time to time we are able to discover forward-thinking people, talented creatives seeking to innovate their artistic flair and find a path forward. The Hybrid Drummer Duo does exactly that, looking at electronic music with a rather wholesome approach. Making ample use of organic instrumentation (such as a drumkit, for instance), they are able to fully harness the power of human expression in artificial, futuristic settings.
‘EH AH’ is their latest effort, a euphoric and powerful banger with strong tech house roots. Yet, at a deeper look, one is able to catch a glimpse of experimental stylings and mainstream flair, something that makes the single appeal to a wider audience, and somehow pleasurable for a listening session too. That said, we are confident that the Hungarian duo must be absolutely amazing live, perhaps we can catch them in the UK sooner or later!
