When Robert Murphy created a demo for a tune called ‘My Favourite Stranger’, he put out an open audition to find a vocalist. Along came Crystal St. John and, as they say, the rest is history. ‘My Favourite Stranger’ is the duo’s debut single, though you’d be forgiven for thinking I was lying to you. The production, recording, and mixing are absolutely top-notch! Murphy brought in industry instrumentalists and engineers to produce the exact sound that he was after. And oh, what a sound!
