Coming this Valentine’s Day (aka tomorrow, at the time of writing), ‘The Simian’ is the latest offering from The All’s Eye trio. Hailing from the US, the eclectic, fusion outfit features a stellar lineup of incredible musicians, the likes of Ari Joshua on guitar, Ben Atkind on drums, and Kris Yunker on keys. Don’t let the trio format underestimate the musical magic they are able to put together. On ‘The Simian’, The All’s Eye adopt a groove-first approach, embarking on a welcoming, relatable piece that’s steeped in funk, soul and old-school blues. Jason Hann is guesting on percussion, and honestly, he fits the project truly naturally.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track’s artwork, the group explains: “Adding to the song’s visual and conceptual depth is the trippy and eye-catching artwork created by the talented Roberlan Borges Paresqui. Known for his bold and psychedelic designs, Roberlan’s art perfectly complements the project”.
