Writing an enchanting pop number has always been a complicated endeavour. Yet, T-FINNY seems to be crushing it, penning material that feels fresh, memorable and with a certain fiery edge to it. Take for instance ‘After Party’, the project’s latest effort. Moving at a relatively slow pace, the track configures itself as a certified banger, navigating modern electro-soul and pop territories. Channelling Disco and EDM influences, the record embraces the listeners with a touch of summery euphoria, further enhanced by T-FINNY’s elegant and charming vocals.
Having debuted only earlier this year, the New York resident certainly impresses us, packing a whopping six singles and a three-track EP in such a short period of time. Perhaps, it’s a sign that the American creative is on to something real here. T-FINNY seems to be enjoying an artistically rich period, something that’s clear from the quality of his musical output.
