Emerging from Sweden, we encounter Agnes Hustler, up-and-comer pop sensation with a knack for punchy electronica and iconic vocals. While her name might not mean a lot to many (yet), she’s been tipped to become the next Swedish superstar by a plethora of press outlets and industry personnel. It is easy to understand why.
Take for instance her latest effort, ‘Heaven Underground’, a collaborative single with fellow Swedish vocalist Leyonclou. Speaking about the song, Hustler explains: “I’ve known for a long time that I have to write a song about the climate emergency. We all have a responsibility to do everything in our power to lower our CO2 emissions and do all we can to stop global warming. Especially as artists and influencers that people and especially kids look up to. I want people to face the truth and stop living in a fake facade of ‘reality’. Think of each other.”
Drawing inspiration from greats such as Billie Eilish, Sia, and Rihanna, Agnes is taking control of her music career and using her platform to make powerful statements about climate change and global warming. ‘Heaven Underground’ is a powerful stance on a common sentiment, while showcasing what we can expect from the project going forward.
