He’s made the world wait thirteen years to hear from him again, but the Chicago-based singer/songwriter Stuart Chaseman has finally returned with a brand new single called ‘Sins’. Influenced by the great American roots rock artists like Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, Chaseman’s latest tune tells the story of a relationship lost. “‘Sins’ was written about an ex-girlfriend,” says the musician. “I’d pay for my sins for another shot at making it right”. His heartfelt and passionate vocal delivery speaks to his sincerity, and you truly feel the pain within the artist.
The track serves as the first single from Stuart’s forthcoming album ‘Secrets, Lies, and Alibis’, which is scheduled to be released sometime in the spring of this year. I’ve fallen hard for ‘Lies’, and can’t wait to explore Chaseman’s debut album ‘Next Exit…Brigadoon’ while awaiting his new one.
The musician will be appearing on the new Netflix dating reality show called Jewish Matchmaking, beginning on the third of May. The irony of his new song combined with going on a dating show is not lost on Stuart, but he’s just going with the flow for now…like a rolling stone. We wish him the very best of luck!
