Telling a tale of resilience and personal growth, we journey through neo-soul, RnB, and jazz offerings in a kaleidoscope of sonic delight.
An instrumental piece gets the EP underway and sets the tone flawlessly for the adventure we’re about to embark on. Hypnotic, immersive, stunning! ‘Worth It’ then steps up to the plate and the listener is now fully absorbed in Stephane’s rich and soulful artistry. A stellar vocal performance over an intricate instrumental, it’s a tune that mesmerizes with its heartfelt delivery and masterful composition.
Track three is called ‘Stronger Than Ever’ and brings forth a positive message of self-acceptance and strength of character. The combination of genuine lyricism and serene soundscapes has completely stolen my heart and I find myself falling more and more in love with the EP after each listen.
Ending off with the jazzy ‘Wake up in This City’, the French-language song ‘Insomnia’, and the simply beautiful closer ‘Magical Notes’, ‘Recovered’ is a haunting and emotive EP that deserves your full attention.
