SIESKI Returns with House-Inspired Sugary Bop ‘Gumdrops’

In September last year, a tune called ‘Happy To Be Here’ came across my proverbial desk. Courtesy of Vancouver-based alternative pop powerhouse SIESKI, the lush and dreamy number instantly blew me away. I’ve been closely monitoring the talented artist’s musical journey ever since and today I am ecstatic to share ‘Gumdrops’ with you, SIESKI’S brand new single.

Described by the musician as a “queer-coated sugar bop,” ‘Gumdrops’ is a dance-centric pop-house number that is irresistibly infectious. Featuring jazzy synths and SIESKI’s signature ethereal and buttery vocals, it’s a highly danceable track guaranteed to get your feet moving.

“‘Gumdrops’ speaks to that feeling of being overcome by a joyful wave,” says the artist. “A moment of intense connection with another person, a shimmer, a beacon, and allowing myself to ride it out, free of judgement or critique”.

House-inspired but with a delicate and sensual undertone, ‘Gumdrops’ is the perfect example of SIESKA’s work. Unique, heartfelt, and effortlessly cool. She’s quickly becoming a real favourite around these parts, and we cannot wait to hear from her again!

Serious tune alert! Enjoy ‘Gumdrops’ on Spotify now:
