Shaun Scratchley Delivers the Goods Again with ‘On My Way’

Last week, we proudly featured Hampshire-based indie singer/songwriter Shaun Scratchley’s catchy-as-hell debut single ‘Party Girl’. I promised we’d return this week to speak about his second tune ‘On My Way’, and have I ever let you down before? So, without further ado, let’s get into it! This time around, Shaun gets a little more introspective and pensive. An emotive piano gets the track underway before the musician’s deep, rich, and heartfelt vocals make their introduction. Then, that signature Scratchley guitar comes in and, just like ‘Party Girl’, creates a distinctiveness to the song that fans of the artist have come to love.

Speaking of the tune, Shaun says that he made ‘On My Way’ with “half its sole purpose being for driving with my mates. When this song picks up and we hit the backroads, it’s absolute bliss”. I really can picture it all. The cares of the world being left behind for a minute or two, with one’s friends, as the sun beams down upon you all, just living in the moment.

As previously mentioned, Shaun’s debut album ‘You’ is ready and available for your ears. With seven tracks to sink your teeth into, it’s an album that deserves your attention. I promise you…this fella is going places!
