Remember Asian-Australian songstress Sharl? Emerging from Melbourne, she’s been having an intensely productive year, releasing a plethora of singles culminating in her debut album ‘City Lights’. Now, you might think that Sharl would take a break from all these creation efforts, seeking inspiration for new beginnings. Instead, the talented artist doubles down on ‘Outside’, one of the songs in the album, giving it a wonderful music video in collaboration with Hustle Dance Crew, one of the biggest K-Pop dance crews in Melbourne. Together Sharl and HDC come up with a witty and refined choreography, with movements you would be hard-pressed not to replicate.
Of course, ‘Outside’ provides perfect musical material: navigating a very contemporary disco-pop sound, the track is practically made for dancing, sharing a luscious vibe and emotional lyrics.
