Sebastian Clarin Returns with Intense Electro-Pop Stunner ‘Palindromes’

‘Tongue Particles’ was a charismatic electro-pop gem that fellow writer Gabriel and I both fell in love with last year. Courtesy of Stockholm-based artist Sebastian Clarin, it introduced us to the musician’s sonic formula; a seamless blend of synth and dark pop with elements of new wave thrown in for good measure.

‘Palindromes’ is Sebastian’s brand new offering, and it’s a tune that takes his signature sound to even greater heights. Featuring driving bass and a distorted 808 drum machine, and coated in analog synthy goodness, the energetic track draws listeners in with pulsating rhythms and evocative melodies.

As for the meaning behind his latest song, Clarin says it thematically addresses his “constant fascination with man’s inability to break his patterns…to break out of his circles…no matter how insignificantly small or unhealthily large they are”.

Produced by The Future Sound of Stockholm’s Tobias Isaksson, (Azure Blue, Nite Flights) ‘Palindromes’ is an intense and hypnotic offering that deserves your attention. And, if it’s up your alley, check out the re-mastered version of Sebastian’s debut album ‘Aries’ released earlier this year. It’s an absolute winner!
