‘notgood@sports’ is the dreamy, hypnotic, and chilled-out new single from Milan-based DJ and music producer Savnko. After discovering a love for music at an early age, the talented artist began composing his own beats when he was just fourteen years old! Fast forward to a few days ago, and he is now putting out EPs and mixing things up with a bunch of other artists and producers. ‘notgood@sports’ actually forms part of an EP that features two original songs from Savnko and a bunch of remixes. It’s an EP that is seriously absorbing and definitely has a little something for everyone to enjoy on it.
Getting back to the tune in question, ‘notgood@sports’ is truly a soothing, downtempo, and atmospheric electro-pop masterpiece. It just takes you on a sonic journey from start to finish, with experimental instrumentation and lush, vibrant synths. It wraps you up in a warm blanket, holds you tight, and refuses to let go.
One of my favourite feelings is that of discovering an artist, and then realising they have a decent-sized catalogue of music that I can sink my teeth into. That’s exactly what I’ll be doing with Savnko, and we strongly suggest that you do the same!
