Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra Share Quirky Album ‘Have an Existential Crisis’

There’s something really unique about Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra’s artistic outlook. It’s sleazy and uplifting rocksteady on the surface, echoing summery vibes with a slight melancholic outlook. At a deeper insight, the listener will notice the robotic voice popping up from time to time. Well, that’s the project’s lead vocals, and the element that makes the San Diego-based outfit so authentic and original.

‘Have an Existential Crisis’ is the group’s latest effort. A rather long album, the record makes a point of the project’s quirky style, navigating through rocksteady stylings, horn sections and a certain otherworldly energy. The robotic component helps the release reach higher territories, making it a precious listen for any passionate sonic head.

The record also features a number of (human) guest singers, namely Spencer Moody from Murder City Devils, Pall Jenkins from 3 Mile Pilot and Black Heart Procession and Pat Beers from the Schizophonics, among others. To note, ‘Have an Existential Crisis’ is also offered through a charming vinyl edition, something that will connect with audiophiles worldwide.
