Hailing from Sweden’s melodies-rich, hazy territories, Sarah von Reis confirms her homeland’s reputation, crafting the most stunning and cathartic indie-pop we have heard to date. Making a big splash in the international scene with last year’s EP ‘Melancholia High Season’, Reis has recently returned with her latest offering, the nostalgic, lovable gem ‘Nest.
Part of an upcoming album set to release in 2025, ‘Nest’ develops with an intimate and ethereal character, going from a minimalistic beat to intricate and anthemic cinematic soundscapes. The transition and the crescendo are very organic and hypnotising, with Sarah’s majestic vocals eventually exploding into a euphoric stream of harmonies and adlibs.
Despite her solo project being in development, von Reis boasts extensive industry experience, with past militance in the Swedish pop supergroup Dolly Style and a number of experiences in global markets.
