Just a few short months ago, we introduced you to the stunningly vibrant EP ‘Social Paralysis’ courtesy of Irish singer/songwriter Sarah O’Moore. Labelling it a “nuanced and truly meaningful listening experience,” we haven’t been able to shake the brilliance of Sarah’s artistry. Luckily, the musician has now delivered a brand new single called ‘See Ur High’, and we couldn’t be more proud to share it with you today.
Taking an unvarnished and introspective look at being drawn to someone who profoundly impacts your emotions negatively, ‘See Ur High’ is a short but seriously impactful little number. Through a laidback, almost RnB-esque soundscape, Sarah’s soulful vocals deliver a raw and poignant exploration of emotional turbulence. Elegant, heartfelt, and deeply distinctive, the artist’s vocal performance is the true star of the show here. My only complaint is the fleeting nature of the tune leaves me wanting more of O’Moore’s rich and emotive storytelling.
“The song captures the conflicting emotions of attraction and realization,” says Sarah. “Portraying the duality of seeking escapism to cope with intense feelings”. A sadly all too familiar tale, the universal theme of the musician’s latest release is bound to connect with audiences. A stellar offering from a highly gifted artist!
