Hailing from Brooklyn, the talented musician and songwriter draws from a wide array of influences, be it Americana, rock, pop or electronic.
Everything is fair game; from drum machine-powered beats to new-wave-driven guitars, ‘Wait and See’ feels quite retro, yet certainly contemporary. Blending tradition and futurism with charisma and elegance, Sanford: manages to pen a vibrant, evocative gem that will appeal to a large number of listeners out there.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the record, Sanford: explains: “‘Wait and See’ is the story of an addict and, in this case, a love that will not happen. It deals with the internal monologue analyzing the cravings of love”. The single anticipates an upcoming album, ‘Extinguished Dreams’.
