Oh, Rushkeys, how we love thee! The Vilnius-based downtempo artist, engineer, and producer Domas Ruškys has been on our radar since March last year with the release of his ambient album ‘Outlook’. Tunes like ‘Aurora’, ‘High Tide’, and ‘Kira’ have become anthems in our playlist, each a masterpiece in its own right.
The talented musician now returns with ‘Maya’, his brand new offering that draws on inspiration from the likes of Bonobo and Four Tet. An exquisite mixture of atmospheric layers, the track’s organic textures create a sense of tranquillity and peace.
A song that reflects Rushkey’s connection to nature, ‘Maya’ wraps the listener up in a lush auditory blanket and refuses to let go. It transports you to a serene, otherworldly paradise, a signature of the artist’s unmistakable ability to concoct deeply immersive soundscapes.
