Rooftop Screamers Return with Relatable Single ‘My Sanity’

We encountered Rooftop Screamers a few months ago, proudly writing about their past single ‘Souvenirs’. Described by Mesmerized as “extremely high-level, with a crystal-clear, lush production and impressive musicianship”, the record didn’t fail to picture the American project as an impressive amalgam of nostalgic rock character and catchy songwriting, solely guided by visionary and lyricist Mike Collins.

Teaming up with notable vocalist Randy McStine once again, Collins unveils his latest effort ‘My Sanity’, a sharp, evocative gem with an impressive rockn’n’roll charge. Oscillating between classic roots and alt-rock extravaganza, Rooftop Screamers deliver a piece that’s as relatable as it is welcoming, eventually fully supporting McStine’s malleable tone and Collins’ meaningful songwriting.

‘My Sanity’ has the potential of being big, although we’d be okay with having them as a hidden secret too – perhaps something you can boast to your friends about. Whichever way you look at it, it’s clear that Rooftop Screamers are here to stay, especially given their helpful lyricism. As Mike explains about the single: “It is a raw and introspective exploration of reclaiming self-worth, leaving behind manipulation, and no longer being under the spell of someone who once held control.”
