A talented composer and producer, Richard Green has long showcased his craft. Delivering eclectic pieces in a variety of genres, the Italian, London-based artist navigates both contemporary and classic settings, exploring this dualism with refined wittiness and imaginative creativity. For instance, take his latest effort ‘Natural Circle’, another collaboration with Italian pianist Irene Veneziano and Archimia quartet.
Placing itself at the intersection of pop and classical music, the track is rather friendly and relatable, yet incredibly elegant and cinematic. For reference, the record follows up from previous release ‘The Crime’, a slice of glitchy electronica that has nothing in common with ‘Natural Circle’. That’s just how Green rolls: his love for music is universal, as so are his influences.
Part of the EP ‘The Circle Closes’, ‘Natural Circle’ also features in a wider trilogy, three EPs that contain Richard’s bold explorations with Veneziano and Archimia. Speaking about the concept behind the single and the EP, Green explains: “Birth and Death are natural things of everything, at all levels. One of the keys is to accept it and appreciate at our best what we have at present.”
