We have spent the last few years featuring Rich Chambers: steadily releasing a plethora of singles, it was clear the Canadian talent could count on a good level of productivity, also showcasing the stunning artistic inspiration he was surely enjoying. Writing about ‘I’m a Fool for Lovin’ You’ earlier this year, we proudly declared: “Championing fuzzy guitars and fast-paced rhythms, the record champions bubbly rock’n’roll material, laying guitars, evocative organs and soul-like percussions to create an exciting sonic framework for Chambers’ charming vocals.”
We stand by our words: that is the essence of the Rich Chambers Sound, a nostalgic jump into a glorious rock era, tinged with passionate lyricism and catchy melodies. To tie it all up, the Vancouver-based guitarist now unveils an album, ‘I Found the Volume’, an impressive collection of all recent singles the project shared with the world. The result is a clear picture of where Chambers is at, both in music and life.
As he explains: “The title is important to me as it signifies where I currently am in my life and music career. I have been fumbling with all the controls for many years, but now I have finally found the one that really matters…I have found the volume! :-)”
