In fact, we are quite fond of them both, showcasing themselves as a fitting musical pairing. ‘LOTTO BOY’ explores their collective experience as ‘rural’ Irish natives; where success is seen almost as a lottery, something that’s so far from ordinary life to appear random and unexpected.
Well, Arcum and Syano are actually evidence of the contrary: success comes from hard work and resilience, and that’s where the two rappers shine. Both boasting an impressive catalogue of releases, the Irish talents have been slowly educating their audiences to icy and bouncy hip-hop, perhaps providing an alternative outlook on a genre highly dominated by American and British figures.
Shifting the attention back on ‘LOTTO BOY’, we must declare our admiration for the catchy and hypnotising production, channelling eastern vibes and retro hip-hop beats into an innovative package, the perfect framework for Syano’s deep and tight flows and Arcum’s gritty and punchy vocals.
