Following up on a three years hiatus from recorded music, electro-pop creative Reiwa Pia proudly unveils her latest effort, the nuanced, evocative and poignant gem ‘16’. Introduced by soothing soundscapes and an emotional piano loop, the track provides the perfect settings for Pia’s intense and luscious vocals, able to manifest into a thousand harmonies once the chorus hits. There’s a certain Nordic flair, with bright, long sounds crowning the record in a positive fashion.
Self-produced by Reiwa herself, ‘16’ gives the listeners an honest glimpse into the Italian artist’s complex artistic universe, allowing us to connect with the song’s romantic lyricism. What’s more, the single comes equipped with a stunning music video – perhaps a nod to Reiwa Pia’s visual talent (she’s a designer too).
