Boasting an enigmatic and mysterious identity, German producer ReeZ3ssi0N lets the music speak for itself, offering an unwavering stream of hypnotising electronica and multi-genre stylings, in an impressive display of musical prowess. ‘Shift’ is the project’s latest EP, a collection of four hard-hitting, kaleidoscopic bangers, each one firmly placed in its own artistic universe.
Introduced by the title track, the listeners will rejoice in the leftfield flow of trance-flavoured electronica and vibrant techno tones, opening ‘Shift’ in a very eclectic fashion. Soon, ‘Fall in Love’ turns its attention toward poppier and vocal-powered territories, layering evocative female vocals over a brainiac, intense synthetic arrangement.
‘Ethereal’ is perhaps the most eclectic episode on the EP, entering a world of electrifying chill-out and synthwave stylings. ‘Be Ok’ brings the record to a close with anthemic male vocals, really supercharging the EDM value of the record. Speaking about it, ReeZ3ssi0N explains: “I want to express my emotions and feelings through my music. To make people smile and make them have a good time, is all that matters”.
