Project 1268 Shares Nuanced Single ‘Dwelling’

Often, music finds a way to come back into your life, even after many years. That’s exactly what happened with Project 1268: featuring long-time friends Haley Webster and Craig Brown, the pair reconnected over their shared love for music and songwriting. The two were best friends in high school but got then separated for many years before reuniting under the Project 1268 moniker. Now, the pair unveils their latest effort, ‘Dwelling’.

A soulful and emotional track that tells a story of redemption, resolution, and rebuilding, ‘Dwelling’ flourished through Webster’s deep and reflective poetry, making it clear that the song came from a place of personal experience. The track showcases the duo’s ability to create music that resonates with people going through similar situations and gives them hope. Brown’s nuanced and majestic saxophone helps the record sounds quirky and original.

The production on ‘Dwelling’ is top-notch, with the track being recorded at Crimson Road Studios in Rogers, Arkansas. The song was mixed and mastered by Chris Collins, who also did the drum programming. Other than Project 1268, regular collaborators Aaron Mashburn on bass and Brian Reding on guitar also contributed to the track.
