Indie-pop duo 7000apart, made up of Amelie Eiding and Jon Kresin, have come a long way since their debut in 2019. We – of all people -should know, having followed the project for the past couple of years. Seeing the talented duo grow was one of the most rewarding experiences of our recent blogging activities.
Fueled by their passion for music, 7000apart persevered through the challenges of a long-distance relationship and are now thriving as a married duo creating heartfelt pop songs. Their latest record and sophomore EP, ‘Feel Your Feelings – Side A’, is the arrival point of that exact journey. Recorded with GRAMMY-winning producer and songwriter FEMKE in Nashville, the EP originated from a dark place but strives towards light, levity, and hope.
‘Feel Your Feelings’, came from Jon’s therapist during one of his toughest times and has informed the art that he and Amelie are making. The result is a relatable and raw EP, filled with honest lyrics, soulful vocals, and pop-driven organic guitar riffs. With their music, 7000apart hopes to help destigmatize mental health struggles and encourage listeners to embrace their own darkness in order to find the light.
