PolSky Shares Hard-Hitting D&B Remix

You have got to admire PolSky’s determination and tenacity. Active for the best part of a year, the British group has been releasing a new single every month, slowly but surely collecting a discreet audience of visionaries and curious creatives, following the band to find out what’s going to be their end goal. Well, they surely are championing strong eclecticism. Boasting an elegant and at times vintage rock-pop style, PolSky also look towards remixes, as a way to shuffle the cards of their artistry and identities.

We last wrote about the London outfit a couple of months ago, when – listening to ‘Song for the Silver Surfer’, we proudly declared: “a true classic prop throwback showcasing Warren’s vocal prowess and his ability to connect with listeners. We appreciate the Beatle-Esque orchestral arrangement, expanding the magnitude of PolSky’s artistry towards a global and glorious sound.” Guess what? they are now back with a remix of the very same track, declined through cerebral and hard-hitting Drum’n’Bass.

To do so, they team up with upcoming producer Aphrodite, talented sound wizard able to completely renovate the song and give it a compelling facelift. Leaving orchestral tropes behind, the listeners now find themselves in classic D&B territories, a feature that works surprisingly well with Warren’s dynamic and charming vocals.
