As the keen reader might remember, we have been following American duo Plasma Chasm through their album release campaign. Writing about previous single ‘Already Waiting’, we proudly declared it as “the child of Pink Floyd and LCD Soundsystem, yet still preserving its own, unmistakable identity”. We stand by our words, and we are happy to share Plasma Chasm’s full album ‘Chrysalis’, now out for everyone to enjoy.
In it, the eclectic listeners will familiarize themselves with the pair’s wide range of influences and style, playing a pivotal role in making the record a palatable, highly engaging offering. There’s something for everyone: from the fierce and rebellious punk styling of ‘Coolangatta’ to the space rock antics in ‘Dreamers Don’t Lie’ – this is a record larger than life.
