Perdurabo Explores Modern Electronica in Collaborative Single ‘Hopes’

Perdurabo’s latest single ‘Hopes’ is a stirring exploration of light and darkness, a thought-provoking journey through the contrasts of our own existence. Sounds convincing? It should do. While he might still be unknown to a slice of our readers, we are confident it won’t be long till a larger audience catches up. Active between Italy, Germany and the UK, Perdurabo (aka Davide Arneodo) is a multi-talented composer, producer and instrumentalist, exploring electronic music, piano-based albums and everything in between. Not to mention he’s also a gifted songwriter.

‘Hopes’ is a labour of love and collaboration. Blending modern electronica and pop, the track was developed with Daudi Matsiko, Tom Adams, and Roman Rappak (Miro Shot) on vocals, Jörg Wähner on drums and Gabriele Giletta, lending his modular synths knowledge. The results are staggering: hypnotising, dynamic and ever-evolving soundscapes provide the perfect sonic outlook for anthemic vocals, punchy drums and a general sense of light distortion.

The single draws on Perdurabo’s influences, including Apparat, Moderat, Thom Yorke, and Massive Attack, as well as his experiences while travelling abroad. Whether it’s his piano compositions on the official Piano Day playlist, his collaborations with Tomat (!K7) or his work with Greenpeace, Perdurabo is a true artist and a passionate explorer of the human experience.
