Patty Duffey and Performers on the Go, LLC Celebrate their Latest Release, ‘There’

Not every listener might know it, but songwriters are not necessarily singers. In fact, often we appreciate the magnitude of a piece through the actions of a player or a singer. In the case of Patty Duffey and her musical endeavour Performers on the Go, LLC, music is drawn to a social and meta role, being utilized both as an expressive output but also as a synch library tool, hoping to empower video marker and content creators around the world.

Written by Patty Duffey and sung by young talent Amelia Earnshaw, ‘There’ is the project’s latest effort. A journey into feel-good country-pop, the track was recorded by young local musicians; the result is highly satisfying. Earnshaw’s vocals are powerful and very modern, while the songwriting is catchy and relatable, a pure gem in today’s scattered music landscape.

Describing the lyrical meaning around ‘There’, Duffey explains: “There” is about the extreme power of friendship, and how best friends can help get you through anything and everything and are forever present through thick and thin. Their doors are always open and during the highs and lows and, they somehow know how to make things better at times when it is most needed. They protect all that is said, “every word and motion sacred.”
