Then, a cascade of sharp and fuzzy guitar riffing wraps around anthemic female vocals, making for a sonic formula that’s incredibly engaging and hypnotising. Certainly obscure and mysterious in its overall identity, the single feels legendary and melancholic, never letting the listeners get too comfortable: that’s the Panther Style effect.
Hailing from Chicago, the group champions a noisy alt-rock, punk-flavoured outlook that perfectly fits their kaleidoscopic and quirky imagery. Speaking about the lyricism behind the song, Panther Style’s Dan Lutger explains: “‘Dynasty’ made me feel that frustration of how the world currently works that could lead us to our dooms, but yet maybe we can all wake up and see we’re heading towards the cliff and recover.”
