P.M.Tiger’s ‘Catfish Motel’ is The Return We’ve Been Waiting For

Jeremy Bregman

‘Catfish Motel’ is the latest single from the Florida-based indie-pop group of moustachioed, long-haired gentlemen who are known simply as P.M.Tiger. Taking you on a nostalgia-laced and genre-blending journey, ‘Catfish Motel’ is an absolute little beauty from start to finish. It’s filled with quick and catchy guitar riffs, energetic drums and bass, bits of synthy goodness, and the rich, comforting vocals of Jordan Rosenberg. P.M.Tiger have truly packed a lot musically into less than three minutes, and that’s a rare feat. To me, it shows quality, precision, and dedication.

Described by the group as being about “things that seem to be exceptional, yet aren’t always as exceptional as they seem,” I’m going to leave the deeper meaning to the listener this time. For now, I’m just enjoying the vibe!

Earlier this year, the band released their debut album ‘MY LOVE MUSiC’, and worked directly alongside the legendary producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor). Raphael was full of praise for P.M.Tiger, and stated that their music was “rock ‘n’ roll as it’s meant to be done”! Oh, they’ve also opened a bunch of times for Grammy-nominated giants Plain White T’s!

We want more!
