Onism E Return with Exciting Anthem ‘I’m Sorry’

Texan rock heroes Onism E are back with their latest single, ‘I’m Sorry’, expanding on their sonic identity and fully turning up the heat. The keen reader might remember them, as we described their previous single ‘It’s Not Over’ as “haunting, relatable and metaphorical, while eclectic in its instrumental prowess”. We stand by our words: ‘I’m Sorry’ seems to be a brighter, punchier and mesmerising gem, with a higher quality sound than its predecessors.

It is a sign that the band is growing, both in its musical prowess and production expertise. The first few seconds in ‘I’m Sorry’ are crucial, showcasing vintage rock trepidation and exciting guitar tones. It all works well in delivering a slice of anthemic euphoria, well balanced between high-octane sections and more understated, static verses. Cherry on the cake is Elina Chavez’s fierce lead vocals, keeping the listener hooked for a whole four minutes.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, the group explain: “This song is about living life freely without regret. We captured the spirit of rock n’ roll here. At the same time, this song is about letting go of other people’s expectations and living life on your own terms”.
