A particularly fantastic offering, which we proudly praised: “Olla’s vocals contribute to the enchanting sonic formula, lending their seductive power and capturing the essence of Monaco’s evening, with its yachts and ships swaying on the waves of the Mediterranean Sea.” Now, the talented artist returns with another fantastic effort, the poignant and heart-shaking gem ‘Prana’.
Influenced by Olla’s passion for yoga and wellbeing, the song is highly informed by the yogic teaching, translating in Sanskrit as ‘life force energy’ or ‘breath of life’. As she explains: “I feel my prana through love, which I believe is the greatest power on Earth. It is a healing, fulfilling and inspiring force that does conquer all”. Quite a comprehensive and universal message of love, especially in a time when humanity seems to be walking towards unknown territories. Olla comes to the rescue, allowing us to connect to a deeper and more meaningful consciousness.
Sonically, ‘Prana’ is still quite elegant, just like its predecessor, although it features a wider and more modern sound, making the record an evocative slice of relatable pop. Olla’s vocals are particularly intense and emotional, fully conveying the strong message contained in the song. Another jewel from the young talent.
