‘Buss Dance’ is the brand new summery and uplifting reggaeton tune from Melbourne-based musician and producer Oakley Grenell. Enlisting the help of King Ru, Lotek, Hlats, and Grenell’s younger brother Redford on drums, the artist has created a track that is simply too infectious and upbeat to ignore. ‘Buss Dance’ is filled with hypnotic rap flows from a seriously stellar bunch of MCs and, combined with the laid-back reggae soundscape, is just the perfect song for that hot summery day. Ideally…with a beer in hand.
Grenell is another musician who has had an incredibly busy 2022. ‘Buss Dance’ is his fourth single so far and, just a few days ago, he released the ‘Buss Dance EP’. Featuring six tunes with some of his biggest hits so far, ‘Payroll’ and ‘Flavour’, the ‘Buss Dance EP’ really gives you an interesting look into a very unique and distinctive artist.
I love busy musicians. Ones that are constantly pushing out new material and exploring their sound. As always, I’m super grateful to have come across Oakley Grenell and his music. I have no doubt we’ll be hearing a lot more from him very soon!
