Nite Sobs Return with Infectious Power-Pop Album ‘Fade Out’

In 2020, a power-pop act from Texas called Nite Sobs unleashed their debut album ‘Do the Sob’. Though well-received, its release coincided with a global pandemic. This meant no shows or touring and, by the time that was possible again, the band members all lived elsewhere and their record label had folded. Many would have thrown in the towel and walked away at that point, but thankfully not Nite Sobs, who have just returned with their sophomore album in the form of ‘Fade Out’.

Comprising fourteen tunes and with a runtime of just over twenty-six minutes, it’s a fast-paced and upbeat record that instantly puts a smile on your face! ‘Do You Wanna Be in Love?’ should be the theme song to a new romcom TV series, while ‘Scar On My Heart’ fuses nostalgia-laced guitars with a modern indie-rock energy that is simply infectious.

Through jangling guitars, groovy bass lines, and sweet-sounding three-part harmonies, Nite Sobs has captured my heart and attention. Every track on the album is ridiculously catchy and there’s truly nothing not to love about this act! Having gone through incredibly difficult obstacles and come out stronger on the other end, I’m certain they’ll be around for many years to come!

Serious album alert! Enjoy ‘Fade Out’ on Spotify now:
